It was officially my last day at First-job yesterday, but I have to back for a few hours of the next couple of weeks because they haven't found a replacement yet. The VP and Boss and new Boss all think I'm brilliant, which I think is completely ridiculous, but it's nice. The building had morning tea on Tuesday, with cream buns.
I have to resign from Phone job before Tuesday to get in my two weeks notice. I meant to do it two weeks ago.

This is the only Hermione icon have left in my reduced icon arsenal. I used to have four or five, I think. I like this because everyone needs a giggle icon, and it's one of the few where Emma Watson actually looks like my idea of Hermione. This is from Serentity, from the Fruity Oaty Bar commercial. In Joss Whedon's words "can we make it weirder, more bizarre?". There's also an strawberry saying "yay yay!", also by erin_icons. I prefer oranges now, although strawberries used to be my favourite fruit. Applauding fruit, what's more hooray than that.
I have spent more than a reasonable amount of the last couple of weeks reading TV Tropes, so I'm giving everyone the link to the page on SeriousBusiness. Don't say I didn't warn you. I want to put links to TV Tropes in normal conversation. Also, check out the entry on Cricket, although this is probably funnier if you actually know something about the game.
Saints are up! It's almost ten minutes into the second quarter and we're more than twice Freemantle's score. It's not going to last, of course, but it's certainly exciting. |
