I have now seen "Turn Left".

Several short comments, in handy bullet point form (now with actual bullet points).

• Daleks? More Daleks? What the hell? Why? Haven't they destroyed all of the last Daleks in the universe three or four times already in New Who? (Dalek, The Parting of the Way, Doomsday, Evolution of the Daleks.)

• I, ah, kind of liked it when Donna was ordinary. She was more ordinary that Martha and Rose because she wasn't at the beginning of making a life for herself. Rose was just at that stage, and Martha had taken the first step in choosing medicine.

• Given the trippiness of time travel is it "super temp confident" Donna who goes into HC Clements before meeting the Doctor or is it "resigned, there only because the future her stepped in front of a bus" Donna who goes?

• I'm sure she got her super-temp confidence back pretty quickly. Donna is BRILLIANT.

• Please to be writing Rose/Donna now please?

• Please, please, please to be writing Martha and Sarah-Jane try to save the hospital from the Judoon? (I still have to write my The Doctor takes Martha to have tea with Sarah-Jane after "Family of Blood" fic.)

• If the stars goes out all at once, this means that they went at all different times over the last several thousand years. If the sun goes out, it went out eight and a half minutes ago. If Sirius goes out it went out 8.6 years ago. The stars of Orion's belt are 900, 1300 and 800 light years away. So, very trippy time stuff going on, that they all go out at once.

• Donna's mum mentioning the lack of bees in the AU world is an awesome bit of continuity.

• Bad Wolf even moreso.

• Why couldn't the UNIT guy calling in the Doctor's death have been Ross from the Sontaran episodes?
